This is the number one curiosity we get. Why the husband and wife team? What we love about our duo, is that we connect in so many ways personally and in business, that we end up being able to provide more for you and to you. We can bounce ideas, poses, lingerie outfits, and are capable of giving you all that you need in making this boudoir shoot a lifetime experience. We are able to have the time, and experience in giving you the best boudoir shoot, as well as meeting all your wants and needs.
What is Boudoir Photography?
Boudoir Photography is a session that traditionally takes place in a bedroom. But it can also take place in any space that you desire and that fits your needs. Boudoir is most often an intimate photography shoot for men and/or women. It highlights the beauty of a person in the most intimate ways. I also see it as an experience that is meant to build a woman's confidence in herself and embracing her femininity. It doesn't matter your shape, size, color, or life status. Every woman deserved to feel beautiful, confident, and empowered.
Who will be at my session?
Both the professional hair and make-up artist will be there. There may be times where you may need to go to them (depending on their schedule and how it may need to be coordinated, and what package you purchase), and then arrive at where we are shooting. Either way, after they are done, it will be us and you! You will have privacy to change into different outfits as well. We are here to give you an amazing and fun boudoir experience/shoot, with your comfortability in mind.
How should I prepare?

What should I wear?
We do not provide wardrobe. We encourage you to use this as an excuse to go out and splurge for yourself. If you need assistance picking out your outfits, we could most definitely help you! In the hype of everything, this is something clients tend to be nervous about, but we are here to help YOU!
Will I be completely nude?
This is 100% up to you! It all depends on the look you're going for. Some clients want to remain conservative and have nearly no skin showing while others want to bare it all and go with an artistic nude. What ever you are comfortable with! We will get together before your session for a consultation to discuss hair, make-up, wardrobe, and comfort level so we can be sure not to suggest something that would make you uncomfortable.
What kind of privacy do I get with my photos?
Don't worry. Your images will not be shown to anyone else without your approval. This is the upmost important to us, and we respect your privacy and your decisions. Through the Reveal Session, we will go through the photos and go through with which ones you are comfortable sharing and not sharing.
What is the Reveal Session?
This is what I like to think of as a girl-date. The Reveal Session is what I, Dawn, schedule with you a week after the scheduled shoot. This is where I reveal all your beautiful photos to you in person. We go through them together, and celebrate your beauty! We can meet in your home, or at my office, and you can even bring your girlfriends, or if this is a gift to someone, you can reveal it to them at this session! After that, you will tell me what images you'd like to have and what products you're interested in!
Where will the session be?
The sessions will be in a booked hotel room. This is included in each package. But, if you desire an outdoor boudoir session, we can have locations available for you. Before you go looking at hotels though, please contact us. There are some hotels in the area that prohibit photography in their buildings, and we want to be able to provide you with the best.
I really don't like "x" about me, can we not shoot "x"?
There is always something we don't like about ourselves. And guess what? That's ok! We are here to make you feel beautiful, and part of that is all in the posing, and the outfits. During your time with us, it's all about positivity in yourself, embracing your beauty, and building that confidence in yourself. So if there's something you aren't comfortable with, let us know. Boudoir is for everyBODY.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely you can! All we ask that it’s another female over the age of 18. The shoot itself is usually more relaxing and smooth when it’s just us and you, so I recommend your friend waits in another room while the actual photo taking is in progress.
Can I have my hair and makeup done by a different hairstylist/makeup artist than who you're providing?
This is something definitely to be discussed in our pre-consultation. All of our packages include the hair and makeup. We choose them because we work as one big team. We don't want something to go wrong with your hair, or makeup and your session be ruined by it. So definitely contact us so we can discuss this.
Do you do payment plans?
Absolutely!! We know our economy just plain sucks right now. We offer payments plans as it can be easier to handle. There are monthly installments leading up to your shoot date (the shoot must be paid in full before hand). We also have payment plans for purchasing products (the balance must be paid in full before the images are given).
Is a boudoir session for me?
Yes! Yes! YES! A Boudoir session is for anyone and everyBODY! It doesn't matter your shape, size, color, or life status. It is for everybody!
I'm really nervous, is that normal?
Of course it is perfectly normal to be nervous! And we are here to put all nerves aside. You will be nervous at first, and that's ok, but as we continue our session, you will feel more relaxed. Plus, there will be music to help you relax and ease any tension you may have.
